Weekly bicycle tours in Cambodia every Saturday.
Genocide Museum - 7:00 am
Independence Monument - 7:15 am
Vietnam Bridge - 7:30 am
Takhmau - 8:00 am
Return to Phnom Penh before 3:00 pm
We stop along the way at a
variety of landmarks, pagodas, schools,
monuments, and cultural curiosities.
We ride at a leisurely pace together as a group,
being flexible and stopping for food and
relaxation as needed.
If you want to meet up along the way,
call in advance. If you need help finding
a mountain bike, or want more details,
call Rithy,
our group leader at 015 69 1008.
We complete the southbound leg
of the ride between 10 and 11 am for a
short ferry ride (300 reil) to an
isolated agricultural village where we
visit with the children and families
and share a meal.
This is an easy 50 KM round-trip ride
with smooth, flat, paved, roads and many
interesting scenes not found in guide books.
Bring your camera, hat or helmet, sun screen,
long sleeve light clothing to reflect sun,
water and snacks, or buy them along the way.
We can help with punctures or problems.
During the week, personal trainer Rithy Thul
provides customized mountain bike tours to Udong Mountain,
Killing Fields, Phnom Penh dumpsite, private orphanges,
and Khmer art and cultural training centers. He can tailor
early morning and late night tours for all experience levels
venturing into remote areas both urban or rural
where few foreigners dare.
Complimentary full day Saturday tours are weekly
but may be cancelled due to mud, heavy rains,
festivals, or flooding. Call to confirm in
advance.
